Updating one worksheet with data from another

I have a worksheet that tracks item prices for my business. From time to time I get a spreadsheet from the distributor with price updates. How can I update my worksheet with the data from his automatically? Currently I am looking up the item and cutting and pasting the results. This is both boring and time consuming.

Help would be greatly appreciated.

Use the VLOOKUP function and then convert the results to values.
