Something like the attached example? To make your boxes for each class, just select the cells and click the Merge & Center button from the toolbar. You can then format the cell background color, font orientation, etc..

The area you'll edit is in 10 minute blocks. I've turned off the View-Gridlines option so you don't see them. You can turn it back on if you want (Tools->Options->Window Options->Check 'Gridlines'). The gridlines won't show up when printing or in print preview screen.
