Using one spread sheet to make another???

What I'm trying to do is to have one spread sheet with all the lottery records to date and some numerical analysis function in coded to it. But I believe the best way to select the numbers with the highest probability is to compare the long history with more recent histories. Say page 1 is all the numbers total, page 2 is the last 30 plays, but with all the same analytical functions and page three would be a sub-set of that say for the last 10 plays. The long history may point to a number that’s lagging behind, but the short history may expose numbers that are recently lagging.

So I want to be able to create a spread sheet that gets its data from another spread sheet but has a pre-defined range.

I'll share this thing when I'm done for peoples personal use, but not for any commercial purpose.

I was thinking it may have been a date/range function, but can't figure it out.
