Placing Value in Cell X6 and have it appear in C6

Hi I am new to Excel and trying to get better at it.

I have read a lot of posts and searched for an example like this but was unable to find one so I apologize in advance if this has been posted before.

I am creating a 10 day spreadsheet. Everyday I import a new set of values that I have from an outside source. It can be up to 45 cell columns. That I want to paste into cell X6 and it will appear in B6 if no data is not in that cell already. If data appears into X7, it should appear into B7 etc.

It is a 10 day spreadsheet, but everyday I am adding a new symbol on row A6 all the way down to A50 if there is space available. After a symbol has reached its 10 day limit it is taken off. This means that If I add new symbol. The column of outside information imported in will not be sync'd. I am adding a zip file of the spreadsheet so you can see what I am talking about. Towards the bottom you will see the problem I will be faced with If I do not get the cell data to be automtically moved to one of the designated cells.

    On row 4, B6 is Day1. D6/Day2. F4/Day3. H4/Day4. J4/Day5. I have a gap here so its not 1 cell skipped but 2 skipped. M4/Day6. 06/Day7. Q6/Day8. S6/Day9. U6/Day10.

I would like to be able to paste the row of data on X6 and have it appear in B6 automatically. If B6 is filled it should go to D6. If D6 is filled it should go to F6 etc for the other days. Until the full row is filled.

When the data is allocated I would delete the data in cells X7(the data input cells)for the next day to put in new data to go into the next cells.

It sounds more complicated then it actually is. If you can please help, I would really appreciate this. Been trying to figure this out for 2 weeks. I havent posted this question on any other forums.

    Hi,

I presume the .zip is of a 2007 Excel file, most people will not be able to open that yet.

From your description it is difficult to know what you are trying to do, you say 'if you post a row of data on X6' then transfer it to the first empty cell of B6:U6, but 'a row of data' ? did you mean a cell of data?

Is Row 6 the only row to consider, or do all rows need to test column x?

Hi I just made a tiny video of my problem

Have not been able to figure it out yet.

I tried to explain my problem as best as possible. If you guys have any questions ask away

If anyone needs a bigger resolution video I will try to get it bigger. Youtube screens are pretty small.
