    Source Data Recognition Problems

    Hi,

I have a data set like the following:

Printer #, Total Number of Inspections Performed
    1A, 4
    1B, 15
    2A, 5
    2B, 2
    4, 10
    6, 1
    8, 8

Every time I set up the chart for this data set, the Printer # doesn't get recognized and what I get is a NUMERIC consecutive range of numbers in the X axis of the chart.

How do get excel to recognize the ALPHANUMBERIC printers # in the order that they appers?

Thanks in advace for any help

    Calli

    Put a `(grave accent) in front of the `4, `6 and `8

The grave accent is located on the far left of the number keys on the keyboard.
