    Excel View Jumping Around

    Good morning all!

I am not really that new to Excel, but very new to Mac Excel 2004. When I am working in a workbook it is jumping around on me...allow me to explain.

I am entering information. I get to a point where I have to scroll down to enter more information. As soon as I start typing, the view of the workbook jumps back to the top. I can continue to type into that cell, but I can only see what I am typing in the text area tool bar at the top, not the cell.

I should probably also add that this happens when I am in 'Normal' view, not in 'Page Layout' view. This is the more traditional view I am used to working in.

How do I set Excel to stop jumping back to the top? I never experienced this in a PC based version of Excel.

    Thanks!

    The Answer

Ok....so it was a bug that was fixed when performing an 'Office Update'.

    Cheers!
