    Copying formula betweed sheets

    Hi there,

Usually when you use the same formula and copy into a different cell in updates by itself.

Does anyone know how to do this between sheets with the sheet reference?

    Thanks Quesa

If you have a value or formula on sheet1 that you want to use on sheet2; why then, in the desired cell on sheet2, type an ='s sign, select sheet1 and click the cell with the value/formula to be used and press Enter.

For example, if you have in sheet1 cell C3: "=A1+10" and you want to use that formula in cell D6 on sheet2, the above steps will insert: "=sheet1!C3" into sheet2 D6.

    Heya Ben,

I am not sure if that is what I would like to do.

Here is an example of one of the formulas that I am using -

    =SUMIF('7a'!$E:$E,"Call to 12 Number",'7a'!$J:$J)

I want an easier way to change the 7a into 1,1a,1b,1c,1d,2,2a,2b,2c,2d etc, somespread sheets only have sheet number 1,2,3,4,5 or 1a,1b,2a,2b there is any spught of combination.

I hope that it explains it a little better.

    Thanks Quesa
