    Reference a row in another sheet

    How do I reference a row in another sheet in the same workbook?

    Depends exactly what you mean by reference a row. If you mean find the value of a cell in that row then use something like:

    If you mean you want to use the row in say a MATCH() function, then simlarly:

    Thank you! And if other newbies want to know ='sheet name'!C3 can be used if the tab name has been renamed.

    Well, I hoped that I'd be able to figure the rest out on my own but it's not happening.

    How would I say...
    If any cell in Sheet2 $E$4:$E$50 = "Yes" then "Yes".

    No problem, I don't mind extra nuggets of knowledge! BTW the full answer to my question I was after is...

    =IF(COUNTIF('Sheet Name'!$E$4:$E$50,"Yes")>=1,"Yes","No")

    Thank you for your help!
