Time doesn't exceed 24 hours?

I am trying to get a time value totaled between to date/times but I can't get the total to exceed 24 hours. I tried to change the cell format to [h]:mm but the result was still 2:00 instead of 26:00, what am I doing wrong?

You have the format right; it should work fine. More detail?

I thought it should work as well but it doesn't and the list did not pick up all the options for destiantions when I validated?

I don't see the problematic result in the workbook you posted.

If i enetr in a start date and time of 1/5 18:00 and an end date and time of 1/6 22:00 the time column shows 4:00 hours instead of 28:00

In F6 I used the formula =D6 + E6 - B6 - C6, formatted it as [h]:mm, and it works fine.
