excel 2002 help to auto-delete past dates

Hi,
This is my first post and I am a raw beginner with excel so please break the instruction down to beginners terms. I have included the XLS file. I am not to proud to have some one change what I have done to make it work and give all the credit to that person.
I need to make this spread sheet to delete dates and the row information for that date that is previous to the current date, it would be ok for a macro/hot key to do that.
This spread sheet is used in a shared setting. Three different people would be entering information perhaps at the same time. In column G you will notice that there is a combination of text and numeral for the numerals I would like them to enter in with 2 numbers to the right of a : and ignore the text.
I have a sort command set up for CTRL Y.
