    Printing gridlines in selected cells

Hi, I'm new to excel and am not great at the easiest of things. I wouls like to print some grid lines but only within a certain area. I presume that I can do this and have to selct the cells that I want to print them in then do something, but i'm not sure what.
    Any help is much appreciated.

you wont be printing gridlines as such but the borders
on the tool bar next to the fill colour button is the borders button.
select the range of cells you want and then click this button and select a suitable border. this will print even if you turn off "print gridlines" in print options
