An example spreadsheet uploaded here would help.

I am totally guessing but made this quick, I hope it gives you a thought or an idea since like posted above, we need an example.

    Hope this helps,

First of all, thank you very much for your responses, thanks Dan and at our moderator NBVC. I'm sorry but now my problem is between files, same problem, but instead of lookin up trough spread sheets is in between two files, i attach an example of that. Thank you very much again. BTW both files are for the same example

Re: Look up and compare data in the same formula.

Place this formula in H4 of workbook A.xls

    =INDEX('[A.xls]Sheet1'!H$4:H$10,MATCH(1,('[A.xls]Sheet1'!$D$4:$D$10=$D4)*('[A.xls]Sheet1'!$E$4:$E$10=$E4)*('[A.xls]Sheet1'!$G$4:$G$10=$G4),0))

Then while the cell is active (cursor is in cell), hold the CTRL and SHIFT keys down and hit ENTER.. you will see { } brackets appear. Then copy the formula to the right and down the rows...

I hope this is what you needed.
