excel pivottable

i have data entered into a spread sheet the columns incl. (yr, month, id, date, long, short, entry, exit1, exit2, tpoints, tdollars, increment, & full turn). its is trading data arranged from 2000-09, I am trying to make a pivottable out of the data. I want to make a cascading hierarchy, with the years in the columns, i want to make each month of the particular year tab down vertically, then under that have each record incl. id, date, long, short, entry, exit1, exit2, tpoints, tdollars, increment, full turn.
