Auto Filter on my home computer differs from my work computer.

    Hello,

There is one main difference between my workplace excel and home excel auto filter. At work i can drop down the auto filter and sort by ascending or descending. whereas on my home computer i can't. why is this, is it because at home i dont have microsoft office pro 2003 at home?

    Thanks,

    Seth

I believe AutoFilter was introduced in Excel 2003. You'll need that version or higher to utilize it.

I was able to use autofilter in the version I have of microsoft xp. The ascending and descending feature in the autofilter is what I am missing. Did that come out in the 2003 version?
