Hi all
I have attached a sample worksheet. I now need to count in column 'C' all COLES but not COLES EXPRESS or COLES EXP. + I need to count all COLES only with total engineer codes that have 3 numbers (456) not number/alpha (24E) (Column F) Can I somehow use the LEFT function to exclude Coles Express ?? or is there a better way.
Any thoughts would be appreciated

I went with a helper column, which apparently isn't necessary, but is easy to update your conditions on if they change.

My formula does accomodate for that by adding the +0 in the Isnumber() condition.You forgot to mention the numbers not being numeric, might cause NBVC's formula to need some tweaking
