Help with conditional formatting:P3 to turn blue,

I'm sure this is easy but I do not know how to do it, any help would be great and thanks in advance.

What I want to do is- When I type the letter X in cell A3, I need cells E3 through P3 to turn blue, cells B3/C3/D3 need to be un-affected.

If someone would tell me how to do this, it would be great, Thanks again in advance.

re: Help with conditional formatting:P3 to turn blue,

    - Select cell E3
    - Click Format - Conditional Formatting
    - select Formula Is
    - Enter in the formula box

    =$A$3="X"

    - define the format to apply
    - click ok

    Select E3 again
    - click the format painter icon
    - click on the next cell you want to have the same conditional format
    - repeat the format painter excercise for the other cells you want conditionally fomatted
