I am having trouble with trying to get a total if there is certain text in the cells.
ie.
In a small rota of 7 people over a monthly period I need to illustrate total number of people available on any day. Therefore think I need to create a condition in a cell to add 1 if the text is W or STBY OR RTC to give total for the day
.
W = Workday, Stby = Standby, RD = Rest Day, H = Holiday, S = Sick, RTC = Planned Work
Very basic knowledge of excel so can't work out my IF's from my SUM's
All help gratefully recieved.
