    Multiplying Time HH:MM:SS

    Hi,

    What is the formula for multiplying time in the following format HH:MM:SS?

    For example (00:04:37 - 10%) * 17

    Just that I'm not sure if doing so en excel seconds will be lost when mutliplying with larger numbers.

    Thanks

    Times in XL are numbers - ie noon = .5 etc... on that basis you can then subtract 10% as you would any other number, eg

    A1: 10:00
    B1: =A1*0.9 -> 09:00

    A2: 20:20
    B2: =A2*0.9 -> 18:18
