    How do I change a list in columns to rows

    I have a column of data that i need to turn into rows. except after 4 cells it needs to skip to the next row and do another 4 cells.

    ie.

    1
    2
    3
    4
    5
    6
    7
    8

    needs to look like
    1 2 3 4
    5 6 7 8

    Please help!

    Assuming your range is in A1:A8, try in say B1:

    =INDEX(INDEX($A$1:$A$8,COLUMNS($A$1:A$1)):$A$8,4*(ROWS($A$1:A1)-1)+1)

    copied across 4 columns and down 2...

    Adjust range A1:A8 if range is larger and copy down until all data retrieved.
