Adding an email address

Is there a way to insert an email address in Excel so when someone clicks it will activate their email programn?

An email address entered into a cell will normally automatically resolve to a hyperlink. When clicked this will start a new mail message but will probably only send if the mail program is open, if not it will send the message next time you start the mail program.
