How do I make a value show up in another worksheet?

Hi to all,

As shown in the attachment - I have a workbook with 2 worksheets - 'Monthly Bills' & 'Credit Cards'.

As I make changes to the value of C6 in 'Credit Cards' how do I automatically make the same value show up in B6 & D6 of 'Monthly Bills'?

Hi,

could you put a few more rows of data in your sheet and then explain what you want to do? I'm sure you don't just want to see the single cell, but when you enter more data on your credit card sheet you probably want to do some kind of summing/categorising on your bills sheet, too?

So, some more sample data and mock up the expected result on the bills sheet.

Thanks for the quick reply. Yes, In my Financial record I have more rows and data but all I am interested for now is what formula do I enter in B6 & D6 of 'Monthly Bills' in order for whatever value is currently in C6 of 'Credit Cards' to automatically show up there also? Once I know what the correct formula is I should be using then I can also copy it to where ever else I want it.

Your reply was exactly what I was looking for. I kept leaving the exclamation mark (!) mark out of the formula and couldn't figure why it wouldn't work.

How to mark a thread Solved
Go to the first post
Click edit
Click Go Advanced
Just below the word Title you will see a dropdown with the word No prefix.
Change to Solved
Click Save
