Collecting information from a template used daily

I have a template at work that tracks the amount of bad and the amount of trimming/shavings that come off of a part. To the Side of these two boxes, I have a sum function that adds them together to give me the total. Every night this template is filled in by a supervisor then saved under the date for the given production. I was trying to collect this information and was wondering how I could get that total to go to another sheet where I can track it and run reports.

I would suspect these sheets are being saved into a specific folder on your network. You could use a macro to examine that folder for files and import key data from every file in that folder to create a summary. The files could be moved to another folder afterwards to keep from importing multiple times, or the files could be flagged or renamed in a way to indicate that, also. Up to you.

That's how I would do it.

To me more specific than that, we'd need to see sample data files and the summary you're wanting to build.
