Excel error: could not be save

    hello everyone,

i have a problem with a certain cell on my worksheet while saving. it show this message "Excel could not save all the data and formatting you recently added to this file." the available buttons are OK, in which will continue saving without repairing the problem. CANCEL, where it return to the worksheet without saving and then the HELP button but shows no content on help window.

most of the cells on my worksheet contains conditional formatting. this problems usually comes up when i applied conditional formatting to numerous cells at the same time. Is there a limit number of cells where in we can apply conditional formatting at the same time?

    thank you

Although the OP never bothered to post back to let us know what fixed the problem.

Entering your error statement in the google search engine brings up tons of hits, find one that helps you out.
