    Excel Data List

Serious Dilemma here. My supervisor is looking for me to create a list every week of contantly changing keywords based on numerical position in search results. I have attached the two lists in hopes it will better explain my situation

The idea is that the Master list has the list of over 600 possible keywords

The week noted list is a list of only 300 or so keywords we used that week

I am trying to move the Avg. position of the 300 keywords into the list of 600 keywords without having to manually sort through it all.

    Any help is appreciated!

That worked PERFECTLY!!! How did you build that formula?? I will have to repeat this week to week changing the dated excel sheet but maintaining the master sheet.

Knowing how to build the formula would allow me to repeat this without delay.

    Thank you very much!

    Re: Excel Data List

Have a look here for INDEX/MATCH construct with examples...

    http://www.contextures.com/xlfunctions03.html

The initial ISNUMBER() part is an error trap.. saying that if the MATCH() portion of the INDEX/MATCH returns a number indicating it found a position within the search range where a match occurs, then continue on and find the indexed reference, otherwise leave it blank.

So all you have to do is change the sheet names.
