I set up data validation to have drop downs in my computer issues log spreadsheet. The information from the sheet, Service Tag No, is set for data validation, which gives the drop down in the Issues log sheet. I am trying to figure out how to update the service tag no sheet, column1, with the input from a user under sheet, Issueslog, Column1. Any ideas?
After that, I will also need help on making the document automatically sort, immediately after the user inputs a new row. Having to go to data, then sort, can be a bit time consuming. I have attached what i have so far.
