element position problem (from 2003 to 2010)

    hi every one ^_^

this is my first post, my name is Jack and i really need your help ^_^

I have a problem with excel files and I don't know how to solve.

    The situation is that:
I have 5 templates that are used by a web application.
These templates are filled with data (stored in an external database) by the application.
These templates are then used to create reports for the end user, these reports contain charts and data.
Now the problem is this, the native Excel spreadsheets have been made for Excel 2003, I am working on the passage of these spreadsheets to 2007 and 2010.
I'm asking for help because graphics, text boxes, buttons have different positions in the 3 versions of office.

    Specifically:
In the 2003 version, everything is correct.
In the 2007 version, some element is in a wrong place, it seems that the position is the same they have in the original template( for example i have a chart starting from cell D4, if the application adds 10 row before D4, the chart remains there, all the rows that are added, are hidden by the chart itself. But then i noticed that if I zoom in and zoom out everything goes to the correct position, then I created a macro that loops all the sheets and running zoom in zoom out everything is placed where it should.
In the 2010 version, the problem is the same as the 2007, but the zoom-trick doesn't work... so i point at the head...

The problem is that I can't manually move objects because they are 5 template, each template has 10 sheets, each sheet has 4-5 items , and each of the template must be customized to a dozen choices of the user. And secondary the sheets must works in 2003 too..

Does anyone know what I could do to make the layout in 2003 appears identical in 2010?

Any Help Would Be Appreciated ..

    thanks a lot

    regards...

You need to install Microsoft official converter.
    2003 to 2007 or 2003 to 2010

Re: element position problem (from 2003 to 2010)

    thanks ^_^

but i think it isn't what i'm looking for.

this converter helps for example opening excel 2010 (.xlsm) files from office 2003.

i need exactly the contrary, open a working 2003 file with office 2010.
Now i can use the convert (compatibily mode) but it works badly.. and the result isn't the same as the 2003 file open with office 2003.

and i have some other problem, like a " excel cannot complete this task with available resource . choose less data or close other application" error that occurs randomly during application start or when a macro is run, and an "excel stopped working" error ..

    this 2010 is stressful
