how will cell vaule turn red 5 days after the date entered

I have a group of people that tell me their project can be complete in 5 days time 10 days time etc. so I asked them to fill in the cell with the start date. I want that cell to highlight red when the 5 days or 10 days etc... have passed. So the excel spreadsheet has to know when it opens the date that I open it in order to reflect past due cells.

Do you want weekends to be ignored? If not then....

Say A2 has the start date and B2 has the project time in days, like this:

If you DO want weekends to be ignored then you can use this formula instead which was adapted from here:

I have used this formula in conditional formatting for working days and it works perfectly. I would now like to change the same cell back to black when a date is input in an adjoining cell. Can you please help. Thanks
