    Sumproduct

    Hi
    I am using sumproduct to calculate my data

    =SUMPRODUCT(($J$1:$J$516=Y2)*($N$1:$N$516<=30))

    It works ok, but I want to be able to refresh the data which could mean the number of rows may not be 516. Is it possible to have a formula that will know what the last row number is

    Thanks for any assistance
    Karen

    You can use Dynamic Named ranges see http://www.contextures.com/xlNames01.html#Dynamic

    Thanks for the info, have not really used named ranges yet, but will give it a go. When I have created the named range do I replace $J$1:$J$516 in the formula =SUMPRODUCT(($J$1:$J$516=Y2)*($N$1:$N$516<=30))
