    Using Series

It there a way to fill a series but not include hidden rows? Ex: I have 20 rows using B1-20. I hide 5 rows. When I type a 1 in cell A1 and fill the series the count total is 20 however, I only want a count of the number of visible rows - 15. Can that be done?

    Hello, Welcome to forum!

If you want to count the numbers in the visible cells only, use SUBTOTAL.

    =SUBTOTAL(102,B1:B20)
