    Inserting one .xls into another

I want to add an existing .xls file to the end of another file and retain all the formatting, etc. Working with Office 2003, Windows XP Pro.

Suppose two existing spreadsheets: A.XLS and B.XLS, each with 3 worksheets.

I want to "add" the 3 worksheets in B.XLS to the end of A.XLS -- to become worksheets 4-5-6.

In Microsoft Word, the commands are INSERT > FILE... > [ select .DOC ].

I cannot file a comparable command set in Excel....

    Thanks for your help. John

With both workbooks open in the same instance of Excel, select all three sheets of B, right click on the sheet tabs and select move or copy... from the pop-up dialog...

Thanks - that works perfectly. I knew about moving or copying sheets within a single .xls, but didn't know about the move-or-copy opportunity between two loaded .xls files...! Way cool...!
