    Average of curves

    Hi Guys,

    i hav jus joined this forum. need help!!!!!

    I have attached a excel sheet wid this thread

    There are 2 sets of data. using scatter plot i found the curve for these 2 sets. i have also found the trend equation for these curves.

    I want to find the average of the 2 trend equations

    1) y = 147e0.003^x
    2)y = 14.14e0.014^x

    Ans

    y = (14.14e0.014^x+ 147e0.003^x)/2

    using excel i want to store
    1st equation in A
    2nd equation in B
    Answer in C

    Basically what i want to do is extract the equations from the graphs

    If you coud create a macro for this it would be great

    Plzzz help... Thanxx

    Re: Average of curves

    It's been a while, but I know I have seen code for extracting coefficients from a chart trendline. My preference, however, is to use the LINEST (or LOGEST) worksheet function to generate the coefficients of the equation directly in the spreadsheet.
