I have a range of data, say A2:E99. All cells have dates in them. Some of the dates are surrounded by brackets, like [15 Aug 2011]. The others do not. I am trying to count the total number of cells that have brackets and are less than one month away from a certain date. So all cells that begin with "[" and are <than 14 Jul 2011. Can anyone help please?
Welcome to the forum.
A good place to start is by getting rid of the brackets, so they convert to normal Excel serial dates. Use Find and Replace.
