How can I average a range of numbers if they fall between two numbers? Example: Average numbers in column A if they fall between 2 and 6.
Sorry, I accidently posted in someone's else's thread - I'm learning. Thanks!

Try:
=Averageifs(A:A,A:A,">=2",A:A,"<=6")
Where there is a will there are many ways.

Sorry to be back - but this calculation worked great last night on my home computer, came to work this morning and it won't work. The version of Excel on my work computer is 2000 - is there a calculation for this version?
Thanks for your time and help!
Try:
=Average(if(A1:A100>=2,IF(A1:A100<=6,A1:A100))
This formula does not allow whole column references and it must be confirmed with CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER not just ENTER to work.
