Formula to take highest value

I need a formula/ way so that highest value can be extracted from the following columns

Column1 Column2 Column3 Column4 Column5

highest numeric value should SB,111,123,145,158 AC,101,146,178,112 XB,107,111,109 CD,99,47,189,157
come in this column from Columns
2,3,4,5

Please advise...

Your question and your data structure is not clear. We cannot look inside your head. Please provide more detail, i.e. upload a workbook with some sample data and mock up the expected result.

Read the forum rules before you post anything else.

This is a very bad data layout. There are several numeric values, together with text in any one cell, so the whole cell content is text.

Consider arranging your data so that each value occupies a single cell.
