Hi all,

I am new on board, this site has been very helpful to me since I joined

I have a excel problem here:

Here is a list of number,

0
11
1

I could like to get the data like, number 1 repeat one time for ?? time, 2 time constantly ?? time

Anybody can help.

Huh? Can you repeat that please?

Give an example of your expected results based on that original list.

Hi,

Base on the data, for example

nbr one time two time 3 time
1 2 1 1

number 1 hit and no subsequent repeat for 2 time, hit and with one sebsequent repeat for 1 time and hit with 2 subsequent repeat for one time

Just a wild guess but are you trying to establish how many times the numbers occur in the list? How many time 1 occurs etc. If so a vlookup formula would help. See my response at http://www.excelforum.com/excel-new-...-of-pages.html
