Need some assistance, new user trying to take a cell with lastname, firstname and transposing into another cell for a mail merge.
if you are looking to end up with Firstname Lastname then you could use:
=RIGHT(A1,LEN(A1)-FIND(",",A1)-1) & " " & LEFT(A1,FIND(",",A1)-1)

There's also the text to columns approach: highlight the list and select text to columns, then use a comma as a separator. To combine them, use =IF(C1="",B1&" "&A1,C1&" "&A1&", "&B1). This takes care of cases like Williams, Jr., Rick.
