I have a Master Spreadsheet, with only about 17 columns of data, i get another sales spreadsheet every week with about 15 variables, from which i need to pick 4 Variables and update the Master. The Unique Field being Serial number , so if the Sale is already on the Master sheet ignore,else insert the three fields in the master
Anyone have an idea how i can Automate this?? copy of Master and sales sheet are attached

When you said the Unique field is Serial No, do you mean that this is also the common field between both the reports? When i looked at the numbers, they do not look similar.
HI, the common field is the Serial number, this is noted in sheet 1 as SERIAL_NO and in sheet2 (what we get from sales) depicted as KNUMBER
I could edit the header in the Master sheet to say SERIAL_NO if this was a hindrence

Yes, but if you compare the numbers given in Sheet1 in column Serial_No v/s Sheet2 column Knumber, you will not find any matches. Is this just an issue with the sample data? Do you have serial numbers that match in your original file?
Yes, there are Numbers that match, but there are also new numbers (Sales) what need to be inserted if new
