I have to work with various types to tickets. I've a worksheet where I've to maintain how many numbers of tickets I received and how many issued. Say, I received 1000 nos. of tickets bearing no.1001 to 2000. I put 1001 in cell a3 and 2000 in b3. The result is 999 but the number of ticket is 1000. How can I solve it? Help me. I am attaching a sheet for ready reference. Golam Rahman
Just put a +1 at the end of the subtraction. So your formula will be A3-B3+1.
