I can use Right formula to copy 6 char. from one column to another but if can't get those chars. cut from the first column. This is probably very easy.

select by mouse name of worksheet press right button of mouse and choose "view code" next paste this code into window which has appeared. Now try type into any cell some text longer the 6 characters.
