how to get values from another sheet based on the date

dear friends,

i am new to here. i am struck with a problem. i have to generate the daily report in one sheet. these data has to collected from different sheets. i have multiple machines and each sheet created for each machine. every day data related to that machine will be entered in respective sheets under the date column. these datas has to be transfered to daily report sheet based on todays date. please give a suggestion.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Maybe LOOKUP or INDEX & MATCH functions. It's better for all of us to upload a small sample workbook.

thank you for the reply.

i am attaching the sample work sheet for better understanding.
in the work book, "home" sheet G7 has to get the data from "SAV101" based on the "present date-1" and this has to be updated automatically day by day(data required row is shown in color matching with the "A" OF "BOOK')
the datas in the sheets will be entered day by day based on the delays/breakdowns.

please give suggestion.
