    Adding lines to columns

    Hi,

I am looking for a formula which will add a row if a field has a number with a "," When it adds a row (number of rows will depend on the number of numbers with commas) it should also take the data to the next line if possible

I have attached a file of what I have now, and what the data has to look like.

If anyone knows how to do it it would be most appreciated.

    Thanks

    Clint

This... I think this is more complicated than you think.

Inside a table, one column has multiple (1 - n) comma-separated-values; you want each value picked out, and put on its own row, with the data from the rest of the parent row copied into the split rows.

You can do this with VBA, but not with built-in functions. Is that okay with you?
