I have a downloaded an excel sheet from SAP and the date currently reads as 24.11.2011.
I need to convert it to the american format 11/24/2011.
Please help!!!!

How about..
=SUBSTITUTE(MID(A1,4,3)&LEFT(A1,3)&RIGHT(A1,4),".","/")
