Can I automatically data into one cell if I enter data in another cell?

I am working on a financing workbook, and am trying to have an area where I enter weekly payments I make, and have them enter data into other areas I have, such as rent, etc.

Here's where I'm stuck. If I enter something like $500 into the weekly payments cell, is there a way I can have that $500 also entered into the Rent cell?

In the screenshot I posted, the red circle is where I will enter the data, and I want it to automatically enter into the orange circle.

Is this doable? And if so, how?

    Thanks

Link the two cells is probably the simplest way....

    Hence in J41 use

When you are in Advanced reply, click on the paperclip to open the upload window.

    In cell B45 put: =J41
However, I think you will soon going to have problems with that layout.

Thanks for the help. Tried it, but after playing around with it, I didn't end up liking it. So I got rid of the payments area altogether. Simpler this way now.
