    Conditional Formatting help

I know this is possible with conditional formatting i just dont know how to do it.

Im looking to have a list of test scores just down one column and have them color shaded between green and red depending on what the score was.

    Hi wolverineandrew,

You need to define the criteria as well .. like when to red and when to green.. also it would be better if you could upload a sample file. Thanks.

    Re: Conditional Formatting help

The Conditional Formatting button on the tool bar is actually pretty good for giving you simple format rules. Take a look at the attached. I basically just put random numbers in A from 1 to 100 and had the format based on test scored: 0-69, 70-79, 80-89 and >=90. If you use the "Edit Rules" function you can see how it's setup.
