    subtotal usage

    hi

the tab "A&E usage " contains various of the same item codes in a column "A", the different usage values that have the same item code in colomn 'A' must be subtotaled in column "E" , i need to pull the subtotal usage value from colomn 'E' only to another tab "A&E" colomn "M" which will be the total usage of the same item codes.

    thanks for your time

    Re: subtotal usage

hi kooty. but you do not have any common Item Code in both worksheets. otherwise, this would probably help you:
    =SUMIF('A&E usage'!$A$2:$A$13,B2,'A&E usage'!$E$2:$E$13)

    Re: subtotal usage

    hi there

i did not realize that the sheets did not have common item codes i have attached another book. i am trying to get the subtotal to appear in the A&E sheet colomn E, but this must only apply to 1 item code if it is repeated. the colomn G in the A&E sheet need to reflect the total quantityA&E usage exforum ver2.xlsx of the same item codes too.
