    conditional formatting

    Hi
    This is regarding conditional formatting in excel 2007.
    My condition is if
    Cell B2 is filled with red color then cell A2 should change to green .
    Please help .

    On what condition is B2 red?

    You will need to use VBA. You will need to apply a function to a cell in the same row, then conditionally format based on that result.

    there is a function here: http://www.cpearson.com/excel/colors.aspx called "Colors in a Cell or Range:... that you would apply to some column in the sheet. Then use the result for your conditional format to see if the "colorindex" is for Red.
