    calculating the percentage automaticlaly to 45000

    I not very computer literate and first time forum user
    i need help creating a simple formula to calculate the precentage of one cell
    for example:
    c2=30
    c3=20
    c4=35
    c5=45
    i need to calculate 11% of those totals in d2,d3,d4,d5 respectively.. so far i have: =c2*.11
    i have that formula in d2 and d3,d4,d5 respectively.. the problem is that i have over 45,000 figures, so up to c45000.. is there a formula to calculate that instead of entering manually?

    Re: Simple formula

    Put the formula in D2, with nothing else in column D (i.e. delete the formulae that you have already put in). Select D2 and double-click the fill-handle (the small black square in the bottom right corner of the cursor) - that will copy the formula down for as many contiguous entries that you have in column C, and will automatically adjust the cell references.

    Hope this helps.
