    Making a link from an Excel Spreadsheet to a specific position on a webpage.

    Hi,

    On Excel, I'm the greenest of the green!!! But I do want to get better. I have an URGENT real estate project where I need to link an Excel file to a specific positon

    on a webpage. Can someone PLEASE help this lost soul figure out how to do this!!!

    Hi SavannahGal and welcome to the forum

    Try this...
    1st, go to the web site you want, and copy the URL
    then in the cell where you want the info, go to Data/External Data/from web
    copy the URL (as if you were going to that site)
    You be directed to the web site and you will see a bunch of yellow and black arrows. Use these to select which part you want
    select Import, and it will take you back to your sheet
    Play around with arrows until you get the piece that you want, by right-clicking on the cell and selecting Edit Query.

    Did you mean instead of the second copy URL, mean to say paste?
