How to calulate number of hours daytime and evening

Hi,

I would like to calculate the number of hours during the daytime and evenings. See attached file.

(Version Excel 2003)

Try

=MAX(0,MIN(B2,--"19:00:00")-MAX(--"07:00:00",A2))

and

=B2-A2-C2

The formulas seems to work with the American time standard (PM; AM).

It doesn't works with the European standard hh:mm

Can someone help?

Now I managed to get it to work with "hh: mm".
