    adding of cash not working

In my work sheet which is attached I want to add the visible winnings from k5 to k205 into n4.
I thought this would be simple sum function but its not working. I'm sure I'm not seeing something.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    change all the
    "$20.00" to just 20 without any "" or $
otherwise you are trying to add text values

If you remove the quotes from arount the $20 in your formulas in column K, it will work. The quotes make the $20.00 into an alpha field and Excel cannot sum alphas!

Tip Highlight column K Ctrl+H Find "20.00". Replace with 20. Replace all
You will then have to format column K to 2 decimal places.

    Hope this helps
